Sorry if this repeats another thread. I've posted a few times and bought a 454 back in July, have spent some time correcting some wiring patches and assorted problems. My current question is this; I believe that a previous owner direct wired the radiator fan into the ignition switch wiring or near there (sorry I've not completely traced it). The question is should I restore the wiring as close to factory as possible?Or, should I maintain the direct wire since it runs but improve the connection (currently it's one wire wrapped around another wire and covered in electrical tape)? It is not being ridden for winter, but not being winterized yet because I plan on tuning it a little. I plan on using bottom connectors and shrink wrap, button it up proper.
