Just wanted to say thank you for all the collective info. Just bought an '86 EN450 as my first bike. First off, I'm a starving college student, so am reviving this bike on my own. Got it from an old man that had it sitting for years not running. Have already, changed the oil, cleaned the carbs, done a valve adjustment and the bike fired up and purred. Currently I still need to check the brakes, replace the tires, flush the cooling, check oil on the shocks. Is there anything that I may want to pay attention to as well. I am not currently trying to restore it to a showroom quality (this will happen over time). I just need the bike to road reliable as an everyday rider. Thank you all again!

Got my bike on the road full time as my everday rider, runs amazing. Couldn't have revived her without everyones help, after 20 years of sitting in an airplane hangar. Have a 2000 mile road trip up and down the west coast in a few weeks!
