I am finally rounding the corner and getting it put back together. In the next day or two I will be trying an air staple gun to put the seat cover on.
I am sure this problem isn't rare... The two tongues that fit under the bar on the front of the seat are busted off. I can secure the seat by the two bolts in the rear but the seat remains a bit floppy up front.
Any work around for getting the seat a little more secure in the front?

Make a new "tab" out of metal, and attach it to the seat pan with epoxy .
