I just got my emgo pods in and i was in the process of making up some little air restriction places for them and finally realized why not just quit being lazy and rejet like a normal person. I'm sure theres a dummy proof guide to do this but I'm not sure where or what size jets to buy? any help?

Jetting is required when you install pods.It is a trial & error process depending were you live & altitude.A #130 jet is a good starting point. You will also need to raise your needles.Do a search on here. These questions have been answered many times.

Is there a way around it? I've read that some people just cut Springs and put washers somewhere In the carb?

I've only ever modified and tuned a 125 carb but in my experience the moment you change anything from stock you just got yourself a few days worth of trial and error. Change any one of those variables (airbox, jet size, springs or shim) and the rest will all react in their own unique way. Cutting a spring may be your eventual solution but if you do that first and its wrong then the job could become all error and no trial!

You only cut the spring if needed after the MJ & needle shim are done. You may not even need to do it depending on situation.
