I had a noise start in the front end of the bike it kinda sounds like a motor running or the fan behind the radiator... It only starts to make noise around 30 mph like the wind is catching so,etching but when I pull in the clutch and coast it's quits before I stop... It's not the fan or the motor I reached down when riding to see.... Any ideas . It did quit when I hit a pot hole too ? Maybe the front bearing It's not grinding though any thoughts guys ??

How does the tack look while it's making the noise? Is there any bounce in the needle? If so it could either be a bad tack cable or the gears in the tack itself may be worn

So you guys were right again as usual it was the speedometer itself .... I squirted some grease in there and she's back in business
now I can hear a similar noise coming from the back end by the wheel

Check the belt alignment....could be the belt rubbing the side of the rear sprocket.......or, hopefully not, a rear wheel bearing.
