Here are some pics of the 454 ltd that slayed the deer and
the police accident report that documents it.
the story behind the name and pics is in my first
post introducing the bike and i and saying hello to
the members.
The bike is shown after i repaired the damage the
accident caused ( it never went down but recieved
extensive damage to the tank from my knee's , broken
air box, side covers , front fork tubes and fender.)
so the tank shown is black and not the blood red original
tank. The bike was an 85.
i had the cruiser hiway bars, bullet wind screen, extended
back rest and rack on the bike.
i sold the bike in the early 90's so this infamous
brave veteran deer slayer who saved this riders
life is still out there somewhere.
maybe one of you owns this bike now.
if so
do me a favor
go give it a hug for me for saving my life.

here is a pic of a persimmon red 85 tank that has a dent that
looks exactly like the dents in my original tank from my accident.
dont know if this is my old tank , but this IS what the dents looked like.
