Whats your pros and cons of each? I notice that the average pair of ls650 shocks goes anywhere from $50-$100. Yet the rigid strut can be found for quiet a bit cheaper.

I wouldn't mess around with struts- The bike will ride like crap and it will be less enjoyable. Savage shocks are a good way to lower the bike and still retain a comfortable ride.
If you want a rigid frame, I'd recommend hard-tailing it- that way you have control over seat placement, and you can install a seat with some suspension in it so you can ride the thing. Nobody makes a bolt on/weld on tail for it, so you would be looking at custom fab work.
Suspension is nice. Rigid frames are overrated. ;D

Not a problem. Best of luck with the shock hunt- savage shocks are popular with lots of people as a good lowering shock.
