Thanks, I should have taken pictures of it sooner and looked them over; my big camera hides no flaws...I would have known what needed more work If I ever tear it all down again I'm going to polish the whole motor and kill the black. I'll make transfer a tutorial I wrote up for another site so anyone that wants to can polish up anything you want...I am a work smarter not harder guy; so I've knocked it down to as few steps as needed...none of that rub ut with course crap for ever then run it with less course crap til you run out of grit sizes. I would link it but I don't know if that's allowed.

No worries, sorry the pics were bad I used my cell phone instead of my Fuji for that tutorial.
It's been awhile since writing it, I tried to use a wide array of options of some things people may have had on hand. But really, the higher grit dremel flapper and the lower grit next with a good polish with nver dull, or metal polish after with a clean cloth, or polish ball rocks it out fast. No hand sanding at all.
I polished the valve cover, carbs and both sides in about an hour or so of steady working...I have yet to do the final polish with nver dull or a ball and metal polish; though its pretty passable as is.
