Ok guys. I bought a new commuter bike. I drive 70 miles round trip for work, I wanted something more relaxed and comfy to ride after working 8-12 hours in what I'm hearing is going to be temperatures of 120+ ..... Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. I'll still be here multiple times daily, lurking. I'm still going to be riding the 454 too; there's nothing wrong with it, and it's a good city bike, just not gonna work for me and the commute to work. And I'm gonna need a backup bike JUST IN CASE something happens with my new one. I'm planning on riding every single day that I possible can this year, rain or shine. The details: 2004 Honda Shadow Aero VT750. 18,000 miles. Mustang front and rear seats, Honda OEM backrest and luggage rack, Cobra engine guard, Cobra Floorboards, and a Memphis Shades Windshield. In almost perfect condition. $2,500. It ticks almost all my boxes for what I want/need in a bike. Don't have too many pictures yet, it was kinda a busy day. I can post a few more if you guys like, or a video. As you can see, my garage is getting full of bikes!

Went to work the other day, and here it is: An '03 ACE and my '04 Aero. Old vs New. Father vs Son. (The Aero replaced the ACE in 2004) Personally I like the styling of the Aero much better. Went for a couple little rides a couple weekends ago. Stop #1: A buddy of mine and I have twin 454's, and we'd taken pics out at one of our favorite close fishing holes. So we thought we'd re-create the moment with our cruisers. The original shot. Taken in 2012. Our Re-creation of "The Shot". We got as close to the spot as we could remember. His '07 V-Star 650 Classic Then we went back home, and joined up the next day for a ride with a friend of ours. Their V-Stars. An '07 Classic and an '05 Custom. And my Aero, of course. My Trip Meter after that ride. This was some pretty aggressive riding, and I didn't even have to hit reserve. 58 mpg on that ride. Then the old lady decides she wants to get a new bike. So she goes out and gets this without me..... She did have her dad with her, which he IS a lifetime biker, but still.... Really? Without me?? Same as mine. 04 Aero, only 6,000 miles though... It's got some decent bags on it. Not a fan of the size and positioning of them on the bike, but they were made with the stock turn signal location in mind. Cheap engine guard; flexes when you put pressure on it; nice highways pegs though. Driver backrest is actually comfortable. Memphis Shades Fats Shield. And came with a TomTom Rider GPS and mount. Color is actually Purple, not Blue as it appears on camera. But she spent more money than I did; I honestly think I got the better end of the deal; plus I get the fun of adding my own mods, and not just buying something someone else has already done. 2 of us. 3 Cars. 5 Motorcycles. And yes guys, I know it's not a 454: and if anyone has any issues posting anything other than 454 stuff here, just let me know.
