Chef Center stand should be fine.Do one side at a time.FYI any shock will work that has a "eye" on each end.Just different size bushings on some.A lot of us use shocks off a Suzuki S40 as they are shorter & lower the rear of the bike.

if i dont have a shock adjuster how can i adjust my shocks, maybe that is the issue? also how do i know if my shocks are shot? which way to i turn the bottom of the shock to make it stiffer per say, planning a road trip with a heavy load.

Just out of interest could anyone chime in on the difference between expensive and economy shocks?
