You have to see this paint job in person! The air brushed Kawasaki and checkered flags are perfect, this bike is going to be amazing we hes done. I actually just meet him yesterday, cool dude and was pretty cool to go for a quick ride with the only other 454 I've ever seen.

That is outstanding! Looks really, really nice. Have you had the wheels/clocks/headlight etc powder coated? Looks awesome!

Sorry for the very late replies but been very busy ...the wheels, light bucket etc all I painted in satin black urethane and thanks for the compliments especially to the guy I took a ride with that day ...very cool by the way and we gotta catch back up and excited to hear of another 454 in the area also. We need to get together soon and see if we can be of help to one another and ride these things together often.

What kind of bars are on it?

They are 12 inch air shocks off of a harley davidson Piglet and bikemaster Euro bars.

Anyways the sissy bar has to be shaved and worked to support rear fender and that's all there is to it.

I'll go take some pics and post them if you would like to see it up closer to have a better idea of the rear fender

Scran, it's not your phone, LOL, the forum owner put a "word change program" on here....changes some "bad" words (family oriented forum) and changes some bike names (hardley davidssons) for example. LOL It gets kinda funny, and confusing to newer members, sometimes. Until it was changed, you could not write "petcock", as it would change it, thinking it was a "bad" word.

Yeah, its a sweet looking ride. My bike had just about everything and then some crap out tonight on an 80 mile trip. Since its all coming apart anyways, I'm gonna have fun putting it back together. Try to set it up something like yours

I also stretched the swingarm an inch and a half in front of the shock mounts so that also drops the ride height .had to switch to 131 tooth belt.

I just burned a valve so mine is also torn down and getting a new motor if I can get parts or throwing the 500 in whatever I can come up with to get it back going.
