Hello forum! I am a newbie on this forum and I thought to write something here as well. I already got lot's of good info from here, so here is something back I just bought '85 ltd450 with leaking intake valves. This was a birthday present to my wife with promise to make this a little bit different. Now just some fast mods and during net winter a little bit more. And of course head job to make it run. As I am an off-road dude with competition bike I am not a big fan for road bikes, but I like to have challenges and modify biked on my garage. Here is a starting point: I had a picture in my head and after few days it looks like this: Yes... a little bit cutting and welding already done. I still need to decide which kind of pipes it will have, but for rest of the season it will look something like this: Now I will go back to garage. License plate holder and blinkers need to be modified today

Ok, all planned modifications done so far. Plan is to ride couple of months and continue project after that. I am quite happy wirh my self made license plate holder and this mini blinkers with back light. License plate lights are leds inside the nobs. After installation I noticed that brake light is still missing SO I decided to hide small led offroad light under the seat. You can not see it until you hit the brake. Louder pipes are definately needed for next season.

Looks nice! Since you got it bobbed out you want to get rid of that cool engine guard? I'd take it if you plan on getting rid of it. Thx
