So I'm very new to the forum. I started a chopper project a while back and took off my mufflers for a moment. After I took them off and went in for some tools, a scrapper came by and swiped 'em from my drive way. So now I have a bike with open pipes at the moment. I was going to buy another pair of stock mufflers but I was wondering if there are any after market mufflers that I can put on without adjusting my carbs or if there is any easy way to put back pressure on my pipes to work with my stock jets. Thanks all, Gabe

You will need to get an "adapter" made to increase the size of the stock pipes up to 1 3/4 inches, that way, any 1 3/4" inlet muffler will fit. Many, including myself cut the header pipes just in front of the crossover pipe, eliminating the crossover. A piece of 1 3/4 " exhaust pipe could then be driven over the header pipe....but for you, I would recommend the adapter route.

Nice bike. That rear shock looks stiff!
