So .... I'd been waiting ages for a suitable project then this came up. Please don't laugh! I didn't pay much and I know she looks a little rough but she's complete and despite being in pieces, she's in very good condition. The plan is to get her running, clean her up, repaint the tank, then just enjoy her. I'm sure I'll be reading all your posts and possibly asking some stupid questions, so fair warning! My name's Rich and I'm based in beautiful Norfolk, UK

hi rich good luck with the build. im in the uk as well, be warned some parts of the en450 vary from uk model to the usa model when buying parts. looking at your bike im guessing its a uk model, longer rear mudguard.

Hi pya977 Yes, it's a UK model although I can't understand why the chrome and alloy are so clean and the paint on the frame is mint. I'd only expect that on an imported, dry state bike, but hey, I'm not complaining. Thanks for the tip about parts. I just bought a different grab rail for it as I don't like that one and it was listed as from a 454. Luckily, it fits, but I'll be careful. The bike is pretty complete. It turns over and tries to fire but just coughs and splutters so I think there's an electrical issue. I'll post a few questions once I've investigated over the next couple of weeks. Thanks for your reply
