After sitting for several years, I am trying to start a 1986 kawasaki kz454 ltd.
On the carburetor, I am trying to remove all the plastic and rubber parts in order to soak both carburetors in a gallon of gunk carburetor cleaner.
I can't tell if the throttle plate and all the different pieces use plastic or metal parts. On ebay, I found pictures of a throttle plate but for a different bike.
On the ebay picture, the throttle plate has several parts including the plate, 2 screws, clip and several washers .
I don't know if the washers are paper, plastic, rubber or metal.
Do I have to disassemble the throttle plate and all pieces because of the washer?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Any help is greatly appreciated. No need to remove the throttle plates.Just remove the diaphram & float needle & jets so they can be thoroughly cleaned.
