Got the bike on the road today but I noticed at normal running RPM the tach squeals like crazy. I had to unhook the cable ..How do I go about fixing this an easy way?

It's the tach itself that's doing the squealing- Mine's been doing it too.
Near as I can tell, it's the input shaft of the tach, where the cable plugs into. I've used several different lubricants to try to cure the issue, and none have done so permanently. Deep Creep, made by the same people as Seafoam, has worked the longest at quieting that noisy, chattering shaft.
I'll try to update if I find a permanent cure, other than buying a different tach!

Could also be the tach cable - lube it real good & see if that helps.
