That is one fine example of a "showroom condition" 454.....I do so hope u keep it in that condition.....very few around like that one!!! You got a jewel!!! Plus, you got a very hard to find extra - the engine guard.

There is a radiator cover mod on GWK's website..u can see it on his bike in the Photo Gallery, also. Good set of saddlebags do come in handy. Not too many "options" were available for the 454, and now, any of them are hard to find and costly. If u have not had it done, I would check the valve adjustment. Check the workshop manual for maintence intervals. The better you follow them, the longer your bike will "be faithful" to you......GWK and I know of one 454 engine that had over 400,000 miles on it, never been apart, and last we knew, was still going strong.

Just out of curiosity, where did you get a 454 in showroom condition? Did someone have that thing sitting in a climate controlled storage facility? I have to say that is one sweet looking ride. WOW just doesn't describe how nice it looks. Sweet Ride....!!

That just amazing, you prabably have the lowest milage 454 in the world, that is a super rare find and if i was you, you should keep it like that and get a another 454 with some milage on it. Keep that one like that. It would be a shame to put milage on that. That bike should be in a museum. Just amazing, it almost, well it is just jaw dropping. I know everyone wants to know how much you paid for it?
amazing, you need to hold on to it and preserve it...buy another one to put milage on.
Just amazed, the chef.
