I have looked and cant find it - probably because I am not doing it right
Best way to get ALL of the gas out of the tank
next - what do I put into the tank ( if anything) to keep it from rusting. Could be a while before I use it still working on the bike

If the tank is off the bike,just turn to "pri" and drain the fuel,than you can put about 1/2 a liter of oil in the tank and slosh it around till the tank is coated.If you are leaving the tank on the bike,I would fill it up with fuel and add some SeaFoam.

Are you just looking to winterize or are you looking to put a liner of some sort in. My tank was full of rust and had to replace it. For fear of the same thing happening to the new one, I used Kreem tank liner. I have heard some guys say they don't like liners but so far, It is working well for me.

no rust at all and I am wanting to stay thay way - I will be putting it up off of the bike until I get time to paint it. Best way to store it off of the bike

You ought to be fine just oiling it I would think.
