Please go to my website for a list of the parts. www.dbmiata.com/454/I'm still adding a bunch of parts to it, so if you have any requests, please message me. Bought this bike to fix up, then discovered it had a broken cam chain. It's also missing a few other parts so decided to part it. Here is a list of the parts (more to be listed), and I can supply pictures. The bike was not running when I bought it, so I can't guarantee the parts will work. I am assuming most of them do since the reason the bike was broken was due to a broken cam chain. Message me here or email: dustinb@dbmiata.com. Tell me what you think is a reasonable offer, and I'm sure I'll take it. Parts left: Flywheel Stator Camshafts Camshaft Retainers Carburetor Radiator Fan Valve Cover Plastic air box (front half) Front Fender Rear fender Frame All Engine covers Various Electronics Handlebar Full Wiring Harness

how about the header pipe chrome trims, the ones that cover the pipes clear back to the muffler? I have 4 exhaust covers - 2 small ones that went on top, and two bigger ones that ran along the exhaust. They are all in quite good shape, except for some surface rust on the bigger pieces. One of the tabs on one of the bigger pieces is gone as well (rear tab). I have pictures of most of the things at this web address: www.dbmiata.com/454/Look for exhaust covers in there. Does $30 for the set sound fair?

Can someone suggest how to get the alternator rotor off? I've taken the center bolt off, but can't get the darn thing to budge.

Dustin, u need a 18x1.5mm bolt with lots of threads - u screw it in, and it pushes the flywheel off.

I'd like the seat and the IC Igniter. May need the ignition coils and the pulse coils. What's my best price? I've got one that has just stopped. very weak spark. all the coils check with a meter, so I'm guessing it's the IC Igniter. Thanks!

I haven't seen this bike run, and it didn't have a battery, so I can't test how the switch works. I can tell you that the switch only has a lo/hi setting, not an off.

Basically, NO street legal bike has an off switch for the headlight, by law. Its a safety issue, to help motorists see the bike better.

Thanks eaglerider ,, I did not know that Law about the lights !! thats a good thing I guess that its that way. I did see a video of another 454 ltd that could turn its lights on and off so I was not sure ,, they did not look like stock switches on it. ok i will keep them that way for safety And yes loud pipes do save lives this is true !

8-)LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES!!!! Loud pipes also cost deafness, and makes it hard to listen to radio if you have one

personally i think i am too busy watchin what is goin on around me to ever be able to enjoy the radio on a bike, though i have often thought of having one. while i do agree with you that loud pipes do have a negative effect on your hearing, they are also, i think, one of the best defenses a motorcyclist has against a 2 ton car. 2 summers ago my wife and i almost got ran over by a drunk driver and it scared the crap outta me. so the next day i took my mufflers off and have been riding with straight pipes ever since.

Not trying to be negative here, but.... the several times that I have almost been run over I could have been running open headers and they wouldn't have noticed......inattention on their behalf each time. Cell phones, talking, being in a hurry to cut through a parking lot, I was close enough to see what each of them was doing and it wasn't being aware of their surroundings. I've lost enough of my hearing due to weapons fire and just loud working environment to waste it on excessive exhaust noise. As it is now my wife thinks I ignore her on purpose
