Good to hear that you are up & running with no more problems. Only thing I need to do now is straight the forks a lil and install the Savage shocks I bought a while back

Brown...and everyone....u do not have to drain the oil when removing the stator cover...there is only perhaps a couple of spoonsfull of oil remaining in there....the rest drains back into the crankcase.

Did you use a new gasket, or just some RTV for the stator cover?

Did you use a new gasket, or just some RTV for the stator cover? used the previous gasket no new one or anything hasn't leaked at all

Mine was missing in some places but I gave it a good clean an scrub then put the gasket glue on, retighten the bolts a half turn or so after it's dried then ran it at idle for 10 mins, had a look at it this morning and no leaks yet (probaly should have gotten all of the old gasket off though)
