As we all know people love motorcycles. They also love to steal them. Have any of you done anything to help prevent this? I was thinking some sort of hidden kill switch so to speak. Any idea? Pics would be great. As im not sure where to hide a switch if I went that way.

I have a security alarm/remote start installed on mine, that I can shut down the electrical system. A hidden "kill" switch is a easy way to do it.

I think those are great ideas, but nothing is going to stop a thief from stealing your bike, if the really want it. They will just pick it up and put it in a van. Although there is one thing you can do which i did in the past, but its expensive. I forgot the name of the company, but its an anchor that you drill into the pavement next to your bike, its really heavy duty and it comes with a special masonry drill bits that go a foot and a half into the ground it was about 200$, then what you need to get is what is called krypton new York chain, which is about 150$, then u need a krypton lock 75$ and your set. I know it works because when i living with a Friend of mine, he and i were on the anchor system, he had a heavy Gage lack, i had the new York lock. Well my bike was still there and his bike was gone and the heavy gage lock was cut. So you can do it but its not cheap, at least 400- 500 bucks.......if Ur interested in the anchor system, just goggle motorcycle bike anchor.
good luck, Danny

If someone makes a homemade killswitch install it on your ignition system only if you plug it into your main electric system it could shut down while on the road.
