Hello First apologies for my google english. I am from Bulgaria and here LTD454 are exotic. There are no parts. I have motorcycle two years ago I traveled about 10,000 miles. Soon I had a problem with the starter and opened the left engine cover. Found that no one magnet generator (flywheel). I think I bought the motorcycle in this state. I have not had a problem with charging the battery. If you continue to drive so what problems can I expect?

Welcome. As long as there are no pieces of the old magnet floating around, and every thing is clean, you should be fine. The charging output will be lower but if you avoid using the hi-beam you should have enough power to charge the battery.

Can I have problems from imbalance of the flywheel? If you do,you can carefully take another magnet off opposite the one that is broke to balance things out.You will not have enough power to run your headlight & keep the battery charged.but it will get you by until you find a flywheel. It will help if you keep it on a battery charger at night.

New ones for the 454 are non-existant. Good used ones, when thay are found are not cheap at all.

I just sent them an email asking if the magnets were built into it because the image did not look like the old one.

That bolt won't budge. Anyone use heat? It's LH thread & you need a proper 18mm x 1.5 flywheel puller. The puller is RH thread.
