the bike cranks over hard, runs great once its starts. I have changed starters, but only have used ones to try, battery is good, i checked the cam timing, its right on. I have owned 3 of these 454ltd and all of them seem to turn over hard, but this one is the worst of all. any help will be great, thanks... Gordie

Gordie Welcome to the family.I think you need to check your starter again,it sounds like it may be dragging or low resistance in one of the cables.Also have the valves been adjusted? They should be adjusted every 5000 to 7500 miles.

Yes, I forgot to say i have adjusted valves. I will check battery cable leads, but i think i may be a weak starter. thanks again for the help.
