when i switch the petcock to pri. i get fuel from both the pipe outlets any ideas why?. also if i where to change my tank and the petcock has only one fuel outlet what do you do with the thiner pipe that goes to the carbs

Two outlets? There is only one outlet on our stock petcock, and that is is the larger horizontal one...the smaller one is the vacumn hose from the carb(s).....unless someone has changed the petcock to some other one from a different bike, or, do you have the petcock hooked up wrong.

Early model (90-95) at least should be...same tank.
