Hi all, You may have seen that I am having carb issues (diaphram to start). Eaglerider suggested that I see if anyone here had a carb that they might be willing to sell so that I can get my poor 450 on the road.
I figured I would ask? (I checked the auction site and EBay first)
thanks

That is because the European model is slightly different that the US model. The European model is only 400 CC, due to their regulations, ours is the full 454CC.....tho they are basically identical otherwise. Seems as tho there are not as many on the road, and maybe not as "popular" as they are here.

These CV carbs are almost identical, except for the CFM rateings and jet sizes, which are used by different bikes. The 454 carbs are rated at 34CFM.....late model Ninja carbs are 37CFM (like the ones on my 500). Different bikes use other different size carbs. That was a good video u posted, and gives some good general advise, even tho is was for 4 carbs, not 2, and a point.....once the carbs are syncronized, they usually don't just get out of sync, unless messed with, so normally, once is enough.,
