hello all i got an issue with my blinkers, my blinker relay stopped working, my left front turn signal filled up with water and blew the bulb, i replaced the bulb and my relay was not working.
the shop didnt have a direct replace ment but got me a guess a generic turn signal relay, i pluged it in and my rear blinkers work, but my front ones do not blink? the running lights are on fine up front.
i checked all the conections and they are good, what do i do?
is it the relay? i supposed to go to deals gap today, going on a 5 day trip, i need blinkers!
any help would be great.

well i changed the bulbs and the left blinker is brighter than the right, that is the blinker that got filled with water, the housing of the socket is all rusted and corroded, i think that i need to replace the front blinker assembaly, there must be a issue with the whole assembly, i am going to need a replacement. i hope i can get one today.

Quickest fix? Stick your left arm straight out and hold it there, now the same arm bending only at the elbow; lift your hand until your forearm is 90 degrees to your bicep. The first one signals left turn; the second one signals right turn... I'm not trying to be smart or snarky; just meaning life is meant to be enjoyed, don't let a blinker issue stress you out before your trip or cancel your plans. Conversation's about your hand blinkers; during the trip is more interesting than, "Yep, I just fixed my blinkers to come here." In other words blinkers are one of the little things; in the larger picture. Have fun
