recently my 86 kawasaki 454 was working perfectly fine, until the bike got dropped. after fixing the damage, bent bars, bent center stand the only thing i'm left with to fix is the left turn signal. Being that it fell on the left side, the right one works perfectly fine. riding normally, the running lights work perfectly fine but if i go to signal a left turn, the the front light wont flash and the rear light will stay solidly lit. what would cause this?

You need to replace the bulb.

i should have said that the first thing i did was change the bulb. even with a fresh bulb, it still has that problem.

if the ground is fine on both of these, what would be the next thing to check?

which btw, when I turn on the left signal indicator, the front left bulb shuts off, the right one becomes solid. the right side works perfectly for both as do all the other lights on the motorcycle
