Ok on my bike I ride it it will get hot not in red but last line before the red I have flushed the cooling system out n stuff and it is still doing it the sensor on bottom of the radiator has broken so I just ran a toggle switch for the fanso I can run the fan all the time and turn fan off when I turn off the bike would that sensor not being hooked up right cause it to read hot like that? Because the bike still runs fine does not back fire cut in or out or anything or looses power it runs fine just like it would at normal temp I am open to any ideas thank you

When you flushed the cooling system, did you also change your thermostat? Sounds like your stat could be sticking closed. I had the same issue end of last year and replaced my stat and flushed this year. There is a possibility that the temp sensor is going bad but most likely it would just not work. I would check your stat first. Depending on the air temp. The bike will run about half Gage while riding and will go up to about 3/4 when stopped in traffic. The fan should come on about 3/4 Gage also. The fan switch shouldn't affect how the bike runs. It only completes the circuit to/from the fan. It could cause it to read hot if the fan wasn't kicking on to cool the engine. If you run the fan all the time then it should be that hot. I would definitely check your tstat.

I tooK My StaT Out Keep My Fan On Constantly And Mine Still Gets Hot. why That's why it's getting hot.You need a thermostat in the system to control the flow of water so it stays in the rad long enough to cool.Without a thermostat in the system the coolant flows thru the rad to fast to get cooled off & your bike runs hot.
