Hello Everyone
I need some advice please. I recently purchased a 1989 Kawasaki EN450/LTD454 and have had reason to remove the petrol tank. On refitting the tank and connecting the hoses back I now find the breather pipe pours with fuel when the bike is running. When the engine is stopped so does the fuel leak.
I asked a friend of mine about it who knows more and he believes I have connected the pipes wrong but on another look they can't possibly be.
Has anyone experienced this problem before, I have basic mechanical knowledge and enjoy customizing but engines/systems are not something I know alot about.
Regards Buster

If you are talking about the top T above the fuel T then it is most likely your carb floats are set to high causing the over flow they should be set at 17 mm. For me the problem was that they were busted.

Hey Lame Thanks for that, after doing abit more research this morning and sheer bloody mindedness I found what was wrong and the bike is running as it should again. You learn something new everyday, for me it seems several more than one
