I purchased a drag bar to lower my hand height due to being so tall the original bars where very uncomfortable. Now I really like the position of the new drag bars but they made everything so much closer and tighter.. my mirrors do not do anything but show me my arms now, my brake fluid res forces my throttle handle to be slightly farther out then the clutch side due to it hitting the tree. The bars do touch the gas tank at full turn but nothing threatening or damage (thank goodness). So my question, what did all you do who changed out bars, what did you do with the mirrors, and brake handle?
edit:
anyone know the size of the mirror holes mounted now? i think 10mm

For my bike I used a handlebar from Highway Hawk, model Fighter At a full turn the handlebar does not touch the gas-tank there is almost 2cm. between them. You can use your original cabels. To turn your brake-hose in the right direction you could do the following thing To turn your brake-hose from the red angle to green angle, take out the aluminium piece (blue arrow) with a Dremel cutting wheel This is the handlebar on the bike

Hello there, I didn't want to create a new thread related to handlebars, and this seemed to be the most recently active one concerning them. Looking to replace crooked stock bars and go just a little bit wider. The EMGO GL style are the only OEM bars that seem to come close to the Vulcan 750 bars, which are the same size as the 450, from what I've read here. Are there other bars that come wider for a tall person?
