Does anyone have a scrap engine with a good bottom half of crank case? The one I am rebuilding has a bad crack/hole in it from the accident it was in.

Yep, with the pistons, etc, too. Still in the frame.

Well i found a whole case on ebay for 39.99 but admittedly i need the gear change mechanism internal parts and cover that's where the crack happened.

Are you wanting to get rid of the whole bike or just the engine? What's wrong with it that makes it scrap?
My plan is to rebuild this wrecked engine/transmission swap it in for the one in my current bike, then rebuild that one. Then ideally I want to help a friend build that into a bike of his own. So as many good parts from another bike would be great. I only have the engine, radiator, wiring harness and a few other odds and ends... a good portion was messed up too bad in the wreck.

Don't know where you are at, kmosier, shipping could be costly. The parts are not "scrap", just good used parts. I have a "gold mine" of 454 stuff...2 complete bikes with titles (need a bit of TLC), another 1 disassembled with title, bunch of parts, etc (at Ebay prices, probably over $2,00.00 worth, not counting the two complete bikes). Would like to find someone that would like to bring a trailer and $1,300.00, and we could load it up. You might ask others about me, but if you look at my profile, that should tell you enough about me, by my status here on the forum.
