I am currently doing a Carb clean and rebuild. I was curious is there was any standard as far as the proper adjustment on the Pilot screw, or is this something that needs to be fine tuned when running?
Currently it was set to about 1.5 rotations out.
Thanks.

Got the carbs back in, and started her up after a few tries, but she finally fired up. It seems to be running pretty well, however, I'm now back to having a pretty decent gas leak from both carbs.
Should I adjust the Pilot screws to resolve this issue?

Should I adjust the Pilot screws to resolve this issue? Adjusting screws wont help.If carbs are over flowing the floats are likely set too high.Make sure were the fuel is leaking from.It may be leaking from the "t" the fuel line attaches to.

Okay, I noticed this happened when I started the bike with the choke on, and might have been only on the first time after re-installing the carbs. I'm gonna keep an eye on it and see how it goes, I'm really hoping I will not need to remove the carbs again.
Thanks again.

Hey ya'll. It's been awhile and had put my project on hold and finally returned to it. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to all.
I am still having a major gas leak, and after taking the Carbs off again through inspection, I am noticing that gas is coming out of the t that goes into the right carb tank.
Any ideas?

Make sure the fuel is hooked to the bottom "T" The top 'T" is a vent/over flo.

Bad "O" ring. That is why we do not reccomend separating the carbs.......as it leads to the existing"o' rings not re-sealing....get new "O"rings.

Yes, it was definitely the O'Rings, they were pretty warped. I replaced both of them in the lower T, and installed the carbs yesterday and no more gas leaks . Thanks!
