So, I love the look of bagger style bikes. The full fenders, batwing fairing, and bags (hard or leather I think they both look great). So what I am wondering is, has anyone ever tried to put a batwing fairing on a 454 lol? I found one that seems small enough to fit right from Mutazu. It's 21" tall with the wind shield, 34" at the wide, and has a 7" headlight cut out. It doesn't come with any mounting hardware, though. I'm thinking of making the jump and just putting it on there. Worst thing is I wouldn't like it. I like the wind shield that is on my bike now, but I'm just curious. Also, does anyone know of any full, or full style fenders that will fit on our bikes? I've seen a few with full fenders on the rear and am wondering what solutions there are for full style fenders on the front and rear. If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate the help with my probably crazy idea (on a side note, if it isn't possible without destroying the integrity of the stock 454, then I am not interested in doing so. I am looking for mostly bolt on applications so that I can return it to stock if/when I decide to.) Even if nobody has any ideas for how to make this work, let me know if you like the idea!

Small update: I did all the measurements and found fenders I like and that should fit and found that the size of the batwing should fit the bike perfectly. One question, is there any way to mount a rear fender to the swing arm so that it will hug the tire but travel with the suspension? or should I just mount it to the frame and try for the best look I can that way? ... now all I need is time and money for my parts >.<

Fairly easy to do, does require cutting the existing "ears" (where the sissybar and stock frame bolt)of the frame of, as the fender would not go between them. Can bolt the front of the fender to the swingarm in front of the rear tire & fabricate fender supports to go from the top sides of the fender down to the lower shock mount area. One of our members has done this, already......look thru the pics, etc, you should find it.

If I cut those "ears" off, doesn't that eliminate my possibilities of riding a passenger? If so, I will just do what I can to mount the fender to the original mounting spot.

Not if you use a steel fender, and use strong supports, and bolt it good at the front of the swingarm. It, of course, will move up and down independent to the rest of the frame and you the driver, which the passenger might not like.

I don't think my passenger would quite like bouncing around that way haha I think it should look fine bolted on to those "ears", though. The fender I am looking is basically a Harley Softail fender, so it doesn't wrap too far around. I think it should look good on the 454 but not too sure yet. Thank you for the information!
