Alright so I'm going to skip the long story and get the point. Bike stopped turning on, needed a new battery, so I got a new battery. Bike only clicks once when I try to start went and bought a starter solenoid put it in now it clicks multiple times but doesn't turn over unless I do a solenoid jump then it'll go. I need some help I'm so close to selling it and just buying a new bike

Did you charge the battery properly, after adding the acid? 2 amps maximum, for 7 or 8 hours?

If it starts when you jump the solenoid, that is an indication that the solenoid is bad, or the relay is bad. Some have by passed the relay, per posts here in the forum.

The relay is on the right side of the bike under the airbox cover. It's just a little black square. It controls power from your start button to the starter solenoid. The fact that it clicks means the relay is working properly. It sounds to me that you have a solenoid problem. They can get corroded and not provide a proper electrical path or the coils can fail. You need to pull it apart and check it out.
