So while I had the real wheel off of my bike I could see clear as day a few of the things I needed to take off for the CA emissions removal: This is the return pump and canister: I removed them and all hoses attached to them: I removed the gas tank, and pulled off the hoses connected to valve cover on both sides. and the vacuum switch valve: Check out the hole in that Canister: There was a long hose connecting the vacuum switch valve to the air box. I clamped the hose near the air box, cut off the remaining hose and used it to temporarily seal the valves: the hose on the right side carb air intake was snipped to 4", folded over and clamped as well. So now there are 3 openings I am unsure about. the 2 on the bottom of the gas tank, and one on the right side of the right air box. But I did just go for and hour long ride and she ran great

The ones on the tank are vents & the extra hole in airbox can be blocked to no dirt enters.
