Hey, I've been researching these threads and so far to my kkowledge I have not seen a beautifully pictured and instructed valve adjustment. Every thread I see says to do the valve adjustment. Me being new to this and all I am skeptical of the adjustment only because I haven't a clue on how to do it, nor the technical terms of what's under the valve cover. I was really wondering if any of you aces out there can set up a thread of a very well executed valve adjustment guide. For the new like me. With pictures and great direction.

Here is a link from the Vulcan fourms. Some real good pics.Just take out the parts about the tank mounted speedo.Don't forget about the tach drive on the 454. www.vulcanforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2609

In the videos, they remove the radiator fan....not needed......just unbolt the fan and tip it forward.

Thanks guys. I happened to get the 454 running nicely. It does need a valve adjustment, I just need the tools, time and confidence. But it will get done. Biggest problem I'm going to have is registration via previous buy not registering it before selling to me. Go me!
