Hey guys! You've all been very helpful with my other posts, so I'm going to try another. I recently removed the engine from my '84 454, tore it down and fixed it up. I put it back in the bike today, hooked everything (I think) up and filled it with gas. Tried starting it, and all I got was a single "click" from the engine (starter?). It worked previous to my tear-down, which leads me to believe it's my fault. I replaced the battery with a fully charged, brand new battery, but nothing changed. The Neutral and Oil indicators on the dash are illuminated. I hooked up some car terminals and tried jumping the bike directly (car was off), same result. Any suggestions?
Thanks again!

Problem solved! The lead from the solonoid wasn't connected to the starter motor. Once that got hooked up, I used a bump start to get it going, and now it works!
