Hope you don't mind I threw your bike pic up here instead of the link. Nice front end. Home made or modified? Like the dipped parts too. Nice touch. Left over pattern from hunting equipment dips?

Thanks bwhitter. The front end is a homemade girder suspension. All the dip patterns were picked out for my bike. Tank fenders and side covers are a unique pattern involving branches with bark pealing off turning into antler. The rest is blaze orange with black carbon print overlay to tone down the Orange.

Thanks eagle. I have been looking at different mods over the years to see what I might want to do and never saw one with. Girder front end. And being I love the look of the old girder suspension I decided to make one to see how it would look and I think it turned out ok.

Looks good. Do you have any other angles? What rear fender is that?

Thanks blain..
Venson, this is the only angel I have. As for the rear fender I don't remember what fender it is. I found it on eBay.

Stunning job! Do you have bearings in your girder, needle or bushes? Been throwing around the idea of a girder fork for a while as they are just beautiful. And so much more stable from side flex. I guess you made the tripple trees? What spring rate is the front spring? I'm dang envoys of that bike man! really good job!

Thanks gonzo. On all moving parts I used solid bronze bushings. The triple trees are homade. I did however use the stem off the original triple trees along with cutting out the seal lip section on the bottom half of the triple trees. This was welded into the new ones. As for the spring, it is a smaller coil over shock that I used.

Any way you could take a couple of close-up pics of the girder front end? Would love to take a look-see at it. Heck of a job you did on that bike.

Thanks bobber maker. I actually fabricated the seat myself to fit the modifications to the frame.
