Looking at this page it seems there are still a few around riding or working on these bikes. I bought mine new in 1989 and I don't ride it much, but I still love it. Every time I get on it, the smooth shifting and power from this little engine really gets me going. I have two Honda Magnas which I prefer riding and a pig which I like to look at, but hate riding. The 454 is by far the easiest handling and smoothest bike to ride. I have been offered money for my bike and have a guy wanting it now, but I can't seem to part with it. The one guy that wants it buys and sells a lot of bikes and I can't stand the thought that my bike would end up with someone who didn't cherish it. Anybody else feel like I do about these bikes. Mine is in showroom condition plus has the chrome radiator cover and highway pegs and luggage rack and everything looks nearly perfect. It has never been ridden in the rain nor left outside.

I second that! Don't sell it to someone who doesn't understand how smooth these bikes are.

Looks great! Nice to see someone preserve it in good original shape, much like mine. The bags and rack set it off nice, where did you get the bags?

I doubt I will ever sell her even though it is hard to get a car into the garage now. I bought those bags about 20 years ago and can't remember anything about where I got them, but they are very rigid and have held their shape and look like new so they are good ones. Thanks for the comments. Here is a better photo of her.

Love the look. Anymore info on the highway pegs? This is what I want to do with mine.

I got the peg set off ebay several years ago. Some guy had a bunch of them.

I've seen a few similar and think this is the route I'm going to go. Is it clamped to the frame?

Yes. Very simple U-clamps.
