I have a 1990 454 LTD that was given to me by my father in law. Before he handed over the key, he removed the baffles from the stock exhaust, as he likes LOUD exhaust. I like moderately loud exhaust as long as it sounds good. The de-baffled exhaust sounded decent, but was very loud and annoying at times, especially on the highway. After some searching around the forums for ideas, and then searching eBay for mufflers, I finally came across a set of factory Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glide mufflers for a mere $15. Needless to say I jumped on them. After a few hours of cutting, welding, and fabricating pieces I can say I am quiet happy with the results. It's a happy medium between full stock exhaust and the de-baffled pipes, plus I think it looks pretty nice Before: After A close up of the muffler: s149.photobucket.com/user/Driv2Slow/media/IMG_5479.jpg.html?sort=3&o=1I also grabbed up this luggage rack that came of a 2003 Honda Goldwing Valkyrie: s149.photobucket.com/user/Driv2Slow/media/IMG_5477.jpg.html?sort=3&o=3s149.photobucket.com/user/Driv2Slow/media/IMG_5480.jpg.html?sort=3&o=0And a full side shot: s149.photobucket.com/user/Driv2Slow/media/IMG_5478.jpg.html?sort=3&o=2Cheers, happy riding!
