Just to say, the bike looks great.
I am looking at adding some LED lights to my bike because of the idiot car drivers who use the term "Sorry I didn't see you". Have you, or anybody else, found that they are much better in the long run, or are they just something people put on for show. I am looking to replace, tail lights, brake, and spots on front end.
I would love to customize my bike to look more like your but the Mrs enjoys sitting on the back too much lol.

Thanks! IMO the LEDs are brighter at night or in any low light environment, but in full sunlight I think they get a little washed out and the overall size reduces their visibility. At night theyre bright as heck. So I added another pair that work withmy brakes and turn signals only. Also have a pair on the front forks, nice bright white for running and amber for turning. All needed a new $10 relay, used the Audew 2-Pin Electronic Turn Signal Flasher Relay from Amzn.
I get grief for removing my back seat, but figured this is my project and baby and Im going to make it however I want. Figured it's a little small for 2 adults all the time anyways. Gives me a reason to buy another, bigger bike too.

I believe I found my problem. I took the ignition module apart and found a burned up resistor, another that got real hot, and heat stress on bother the transistors. The burned up resistor is fortunately part of the driver circuit for one of the spark plugs, so all I had to do was trace the circuit to find its sister resistor to find value. The color code had burned off. I'll replace 4 resisters, both transisters, and all the electrolytic capacitors. A 30 year old electrolytic cap an never be considered good. Interesting problem and good job. As I was reading through your hopes and despair, my feeling was that the problem was that of no spark. But when I read that you had spark, I was out of ideas. Good work!
