The next situation I'm trying to tackle is the fuel line it is 5/16 and goes from the bottom of the petcock to one of two nipples that connect the carburetor, One is set further back on the bike in lower the other is positioned slightly higher and it also swivels which of these two does the 5/16 fuel fuel line connect to? Also there is a smaller line which comes out of the side of the petcock which I have connected to the top left smaller nipple on the carburetor, and another coming from a black cylinder located below the gas tank that can next to the small nipple on the right side of the carburetor, is this correct?

The fuel hose goes on the bottom "T" on the carb.....The upper "T" must remain open & unpluged....Its a vent/over flow....A hose can go from it to out behind the engine......You vacuum is fine as is.
