No wiring harness?? Best thing you can do is get a complete harness from someone or ebay, that has all the electrical components. the wiring harness on the 454 is somewhat complicated...all models from 1985 thru 1988 are the same..1988 thru 1990 have some minor variations.

I solved the diode problem. Thanks for the tip but I will not be buying the harness as the bike has been heavily modified but the necessary functioning components from the electrical system are there.
Problem 2: Starter Lockout elimination. IC Ignitor has Br/W to Diodes sending a G/Y wire to Starter Circut Relay. Is this bypassing the Starter Circut Relay or should I Ground the G/Y?

I have also purchased aftermarket momentary on/off switch as there is no Engine Stop Switch or Start Button.
Problem: Engine Stop Bypass Starter Circut Relay sends 2 B/W wires to Start Button. Starter Button then has R/Y sent to IC Ignitor and Coils. Should I also connect R/Y to the Y cable from Ignition Switch to bypass Stop Switch?

I don't really understand the term "engine stop" thing. you can use a toggle switch for power (like ignition switch), but you will need a momentary contact switch (or momentary contact toggle switch to operate the starter circuit. The ignition/power circuit and the starter circuit are two separate circuits, if on one circuit, the starter would run constantly, as soon as the power was turned on, a big no-no. Sounds to me, like you are attempting to cut out/remove a large portion of the controls on the handlebars other than the throttle brake and clutch. No kill switch?? if the bike happened to go down, that is the main function of it, to immediately kill the engine and power. but, I am an ole guy, what do I know.

yeah I'm an old guy also and can tell you. the bikes wired a certain way for a reason. the first time you stall it at a busy junction and have to go through a complicated find neutral and fiddle around starting procedure. while cars dive around you like a tenpin waiting to get knocked over. or set off with side stand down you will understand.
true these engines "or variants" have been used in other applications like snowmobiles go carts and jet ski's with a drastically cut down electric system but in bike.
it's up to you.

Bike came with no controls which is why I’m wiring it as I am.
I was looking for some help and thought maybe someone here was accustomed with the wiring. I guess I’ll make due with the blurry schematic I found on the forum. Thanks for explaining what a kill switch is, that answered all my questions.

Well, friend, the way your post sounded, you were not knowledgeable as to what it was for, wanting to cut wires here and there. There is no call to make a "snotty" reply...we do not act that way here, nor do we allow it to continue. This forum has been here for well over ten years, it order to try to be a help with these bikes, and have all ages as members, and hopefully, will be here for the forseeable future.
