This is for an '88 with 22k miles on it.
Let me start by saying that this is definitely not a mechanical issue. I have zero spark. There is no voltage read from the terminal wires on either ignition coil when attempting to start.
I've tested the ignition coils, the pick-ups, replaced the stator, replaced the battery, fixed the grounds and replaced the terminals, and checked the entire loom for continuity faults. The bike turns over. Everything electrical EXCEPT the spark works.
I have a theory that it's the IC Igniter, yet I really don't want to fall back to that without testing. I have been unable to find a diagram online (understandably so), but I was wondering if there's a manual out there that has a testing procedure.
I'm just hoping it's part of the loom that I missed, but I want to rule out the igniter prior to replacing loom.

have you checked the kill switch?

Are you sure the power wires to the coils are correct and there is a "left side & right side" and the wires connect to the coils have a plus and negative connector.

have you checked the kill switch? Which? Clutch? Are you sure the power wires to the coils are correct and there is a "left side & right side" and the wires connect to the coils have a plus and negative connector. Yes. I've even used a multimeter to see whether or not anything was passing through. I get no voltage, which seems odd. I could have potentially tested that wrong.

the kill switch on the right hand swtchgear red in colour I thought you meant the safeties. The bike turns over, there's just no spark.

Still having an issue.
I've tested the ignition coils positive wires. Getting ~12V with switch on, and touching ground post on battery. The coils are in spec at the posts, but I'm not sure what the spec from post to plug is supposed to be. Is there a way to test the ground wire to the coils?
The clutch safety is taped down for testing, and the stand is up with the safety plunger operating normally (don't know if the internals are functioning properly). The bike is in neutral as well.
