So I've read a little bit about some stat buttons that just stopped working. The only remedy I've seen is the ignition is replaced because of a bad connection. It seems that's the case is you have no light or no power. My situation is, everything is working and the button is not. I have lights and everything. I have jump the solenoid and start it. everything running like normal. I've checked the button is making and sending power through so I know the button is good. I have also replaced the starter solenoid so that's good. I've checked the fuses, all good. I don't know what would cause the button not to work. Any ideas would really help thanks.

try the safety switches on the clutch and neutral light and side stand if any of those are faulty it will not start on the button press. had issues with mine and it was the clutch switch .

Thought the same with mine but it was the ignition. Tested the start switch, clutch switch, kickstand switch without solving. Wiggled the key with the bike in neutral and my finger on the start button and BAM!, it fired up. (sigh) leason learned.
