has anyone fitted the inner part of the headlight ie the bulb holder reflector in to the original en450 shell from a different bike, i can get a used en450 but they are all imports and the beam is to the right, in the uk we drive on the left and the beam has to aim to the left

not possible as its the pattern in side the headlight.

not possible as its the pattern in side the headlight. measure the size of the glass lens. then buy a headlight with the same measurements dump the out side case and fit lens into the EN case. I once did exactly that on a imported XS turned out the lens from a VW polo was a perfect fit.

thanks for info, i was hoping that would be the case. as your in the UK have a look at a EN500 headlight seem to recall there being similar and of course because their all UK models point the right way. your in the UK have a look at the size of the ER5 headlight I think there identical to the EN and of course aimed in the right place as it's a UK model.
