Hello to all, I have just bought a 1986 EN450LTD.
Love the look of it, have bought it as a non runner, with the intention of getting it on the road.
I presently ride an ER650F and find it is a fantastic machine.
No doubt I will be back on forum asking loads of questions, at the moment just stripping down cooling system which I am informed has a overheating problem.
It will keep me occupied for a while I expect.
Mike.

im in the uk as well shetland were the ponies come from. the reason i asked is when you work on your en450 some of the parts are different to the american market model and a lot of these parts advertised on ebay.uk are for the overseas model. if you are after new parts try www.cmsnl.com. i have restored 3 of the en450 models, a 1985, 1987 and a 1990. the cmsnl website is a godsend. good luck gary

Wow!! thank for that Gary, have just ordered a centre stand from America, hope it fits, nearly £100.
I may be looking for a Starter Motor, Thermostat and Battery, shortly. (amongst other things)
Going to have to set a budget on this, else it is going to bankrupt me.
Really appreciate the advice and thanks for that web site, will check it out.
Regards, Mike. (Don't let those Ponies out)
