G'day all, I'm having a spot of bother on my rebuild (EN450) I have put the front wheel back in and it is a bit tight when you try to spin the wheel.
I have check Caliper and brakes are not binding, have looked at a parts diagram and all the spacers etc are in place where they should be, can't fathom this out, wheel should spin freely.
Any help would be appreciated.

have you changed the wheel bearings? if no check them and change if necessary, if yes are they in correctly, the right ones. if all ok, when you tighten the wheel nut up does the wheel get tighter "harder to turn" between the forks, if this happens then somewere a spacer is not correct becauce the wheel is being pinched.good luck

Thanks for reply Gary, Had thought about wheel bearings and upon reading the service history on the bike, it appears that someone has fitted new front wheel bearings.
Going to get wheel out again tomorrow and check the bearing numbers.
I'm sure spacers are all in the right place and yes the wheel gets tighter when I tighten it up.
May just order a bearing kit and fit it anyway. (peace of mind)
Regards, Mike.

I'll bet the speedo drive cog is not lined up with grooves on the wheel ring. done that my self. and yeah more than once. you line everything up lift the wheel with one hand fit the spindle with the other and it rotates a bit. push in the spindle all nice a and free tighten the nut and the wheels stiff tighter you go stiffer it gets. would be my first check before buying a new bearing.

Yes, you were right, speedo drive not located.
What a novice mistake, the amount of wheels I have taken out and put back in, never had that happen before.
Thanks.
