Hey guys. My bike vibrates a lot while idling and when i ride it it's even worse. What are some things I should look at to what's causing this.

Vibrations can be difficult to locate and if you haven't set the valves recently maybe start there, then maybe engine mounts, exhaust mounts and a general inspection of frame fittings. You'd want to be sure its the same vibration idling and riding, if you are sure then get someone to rev while you walk around the bike feeling and listening close up there might be an answer.

I think it might be the valves because I even have the annoying little tap noise coming from them. First thing to look at are the condition of the brake pads and the brake disc. Warping and uneven wear will cause vibration and a feeling of wobble to the braking. Braking would have nothing to do with the bike sitting still.........Are you running on both cylinders??? Check plugs & spark first.......Vavles are supposed to tick.....They get quieter when they need adjustment.

I havent checked the spark plugs in a while but I'm pretty sure in running on both. Would there be something more noticable for not running on both besides the bike vibrating? You should be able to notice the engine running/vibrating when the bike is idling......These engines are very smooth when running properly.

Dully noted. Ill check those and see if I can find something. Cause it sucks riding with it vibrating so bad. Even worse when it vibrates so bad it shakes my mirrors constantly.
