Hey guys, I think i have a problem. 1 of my cilinders is not sucking fuel. So here is what i did: - Check the spark (works)
- Check the compression, first it was on both cilinder around 100 +/- 105 psi, after i add some oil it jupt to arround 115 +/- psi.
- fuel from the carbs can be a problem, once i put my hand before the carb intake of the air filter it eventually suck vacuum and if fires for a few seconds.
The second cilinder works fine as far as i know it. So what does this mean? Can it be that my piston rings are faulty or my valves are too tight? Because the compression is not that low but also not right on spec. BTW i even did a compression test with the carbs of. this was also the highest reading of both cilinders.
I hope someone can help me because i want to ride it darn thing. its been over 3 years sinds i rebuild this. Thanks anyway! Regard Davey

I redid the valves and with no major improvements. its still arround 115 - 120 PSI.
I dont know whats wrong with this bike, but im slowly getting enough of it not working properly.

compressions are fine you have another problem carb float stuck damaged rubber diaphragm air leak just a start my old gen 1 EX has 80k on it due to general wear the compressions are rarely above 100psi but it runs just fine.
